My wife had an operation in 2005 .... it was a female thing. a Dr. N made some errors and didn't suture enough.... so at midnight Oct. 3, 2005, my wife found a pint of blood between her legs while she was in bed. She stood up and another pint dropped on the floor. She felt woozy. I was in Utah videotaping a show....
I flew home and found my wife in a hospital bed. Kurt Wagner had driven to our home and picked her up and got her to a hospital, faster than any ambulance, and spoke two words to get the hospital nurses to pay attention.
"I have an emergency!" (everybody says that, even a broken toe nail)
"My friend is hurt!"
"Help! Help!"
No, the key two words are "active bleeding."
She was rushed into a room and 24 pints of blood were poured into her, and at least 22 pints came out, and Dr Nn finally arrived. If Kurt had not been there, JK would not be here today. When Kurt picked up JK from the house, he found her on the floor, trying to mop up the blood... so confused was she that she was more worried about the possibility of a stain than about the possibility of losing her life.
